1. Scope
This policy applies to the public webpages, three-hour temporary inboxes, account login, and email forwarding features provided at quikemail.com. Third-party pages you access from an email or our website are governed by their own policies.
2. Data We Process
Temporary inboxes
To create and access an inbox, the system processes a randomly generated address, an access token, creation and expiration times, received email content, and necessary request logs. Temporary features do not require your name or primary email address.
Forwarding and accounts
When you voluntarily sign up for long-term features, we process your login email, a secure representation of authentication data, forwarding destinations, alias settings, delivery status, and anti-abuse records. We never display your plaintext password on the site.
Support requests
When you contact support, we process the email address, issue description, and correspondence you provide. Please do not send verification codes, passwords, complete tokens, or identity documents.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Create an inbox, display incoming messages, and complete forwarding at your request;
- Maintain login sessions, protect accounts, and investigate abuse;
- Diagnose problems and ensure capacity and reliable delivery;
- Comply with applicable legal requirements and handle valid rights requests.
We do not sell temporary email content or build advertising profiles by reading the bodies of your emails.
4. Retention and Deletion Limits
Temporary inboxes operate for the lifespan shown by the product. After expiration or deliberate deletion, they should not be considered recoverable storage. Necessary security logs are retained only for as long as needed for security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified. Account and alias data are retained while the account is active; deletion requests may be limited by security, dispute, and legal obligations.
5. Service Providers and International Transfers
We may use hosting, email delivery, security, and customer support providers to process data necessary to provide the service, limiting their use through contracts and access controls. Network services may process data outside your region; where required, we apply appropriate safeguards.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can stop using a temporary address, delete the current inbox, disable an alias, change forwarding settings, or contact support to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your account. Specific rights depend on the applicable region, and we may need to verify the requester’s identity.
7. Security, Children, and Changes
We use measures such as encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and access audits, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. The service is not intended for children below the applicable local age of digital consent. If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date and provide notice in a reasonable location.
