Not receiving emails in your temporary inbox? Troubleshoot step by step

Most issues come from a copied address being incorrect, the sender not actually sending the message, or a site rejecting disposable domains. Don’t keep creating new inboxes—keep your current address and start with step one.

1. Check the full address

Click Copy again instead of typing it manually. Make sure there are no extra spaces in the site’s form and that the domain exactly matches your current inbox.

2. Confirm the message was sent

Check whether the site shows “Sent.” If the button is still counting down, wait for it to finish and resend only once to avoid triggering a rate limit.

3. Refresh manually and wait

Emails usually arrive quickly, but a busy queue can cause delays of several minutes. Click Refresh and allow up to ten minutes for the sender to deliver the message.

The verification code arrived late or has expired

The code’s validity period is set by the sending site, not QuikEmail. If you receive multiple messages, use only the newest one; older codes often expire as soon as a new one is sent. Keep the registration page open and avoid switching networks or submitting the form repeatedly.

Wait 10 minutes before trying a new address.Deleting the inbox too soon may cause queued emails to be delivered to an address that is no longer active.

The sending site may reject temporary email

Some banks, gaming platforms, business systems, and high-risk services actively block disposable email addresses. We don’t promise to bypass these policies or disguise the type of address. If you see a clear “not supported” message, use an email address you control long term, or use a forwarding alias where regular notifications are appropriate.

When to stop retrying

  • The page clearly says that disposable or temporary addresses are not allowed;
  • The same site shows “Sent” twice, but no email arrives after ten minutes;
  • The account involves payments, identity, medical information, or long-term account recovery.

Attachments, images, and email links

Check the sender and file name before downloading an attachment. Remote images in HTML emails may be blocked, and you should still verify the destination domain of every link. Never run executable files or enter your primary email password on an unfamiliar page.

What to do if you still haven’t received it

  1. Note the sending site, time, and current inbox domain;
  2. Confirm that the inbox has not expired;
  3. Try the site’s alternative verification method;
  4. Send a description of the issue without any verification code, token, or password to support@quikemail.com.

Support cannot receive messages on your behalf, recover expired inboxes, or read your verification codes. If the email is important for account recovery, switch to a long-term email address immediately.

Check your current inbox again

Keep the address and return to the tool to refresh manually. Don’t delete it first.
